Visit Charleston!

Hey everyone! I hope that you are doing well! I have been asked to do travel reviews on different cities of my choosing. I get to choose my top 5 favorite cities in the states and review them, I'm super excited about this project and I hope that I can convince you to visit them! ;) I decided to start off with Charleston because it is one of my favorite cities. I love the good vibes that the city brings and the people there are so wonderful! ---------- Places to Stay: John Rutledge House Inn: This quaint little inn is located at 116 Broad Street in Charleston. [Y-O-U]

I'm writing this to [you] and you know exactly who you are. ----- Our friendship has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for everything that you have done for me and taught me these past two and a half years. You've taught me that I can do hard things, that I can do anything that I set my mind to do. You helped me realize the amazing love that MY Savior has for me. You make me want to be a better person. Even though we have our disagreements you still know how to put a smile on my face. You taught me how to be independent and taught me how to face my fears. Thinking about your amazing example to serve the Lord for two years knowing that it was going to be a difficult road makes me smile because not everyone can do it and do it with a smile on their face. Your smile... it's contagious. Thank you for pushing me to my limits, for always being willing to listen to me, even if it is 2am and you worked a double. You may not realize how much you mean to m...

Life

O-M-G, I feel really bad about neglecting the blog here lately...(I've learned you shouldn't do that when you have followers who message you asking when you are going to post the next one because they uplift them, shout out to YOU ;) Anyways, life has been extremely crazy lately (a good kind of crazy of course). I've been going to school for my second degree as some of you know and it's been so crazy, I switched schools for reasons that I won't go into but this program I feel suits me better, but I forgot how hard it was to take more than one class at a time. I haven't done that since before my accident. It's so weird and I'm slowly getting use to the routine of balancing multiple classes at once, again. My personal life has been pretty good. So much has happened, maybe a blog for another time? Business life = AMAZING! I am so blessed to be working WITH different companies and I'm proud to say I have one g rea t, scratch that one FABULOUS project ...

Word of Wisdom

Hey All! Just wanted to jot down something for my personal record this morning before I head to a business meeting! I decided today, I know on a Tuesday...totally crazy right? that I would be starting the "Word of Wisdom diet". Some of you may not know what the Word of Wisdom is so lucky for you I'm attaching a link  here . Now you may not believe in it and that is totally okay. But I want to try it because I was inspired by this returned missionary who lost weight by simply listening to the words of the Lord. Basically for this diet you eat a lot of veggies and fruits (which I love already) and eat meat sparingly, meaning not as often as I want to anymore...bye bye tender, juicy steak. :( No, I'm not turning into a vegetarian. No, I don't have a ton of weight to lose. No, you don't have to be a Mormon to do this diet. Yes, I realize that this diet isn't for everyone but what's the hurt in trying something that could potentially benefit...

Even in Hard Times

As we get older we learn life isn't always doughnuts and milkshakes. Life is hard, being a product member of society is hard. Sometimes I think that we are hard too hard on ourselves. We never let ourselves take a break and just rejoice in the wonderful life that we are living. Sometimes we all are busy, we all have families, school, evening activities that we use to try and replace the brokenness we feel in our hearts sometimes. Some of us have felt the brokenness for quite a while now but others are just now starting to feel it. (now I'm not saying all of our lives are broken but admit it you have felt sad in your life about something). So how do we truly fix this? How do we unmask ourselves and start to really feel better about our lives? I believe that we should start by looking in the mirror and realizing we are doing the best that we possibly can. If it helps get a dry erase marker and right on your mirror something positive. Here are some ideas you could...
