Visit Charleston!

Hey everyone!
I hope that you are doing well!
I have been asked to do travel reviews
on different cities of my choosing.
I get to choose my top 5 favorite cities in the states
and review them, I'm super excited about this project
and I hope that I can convince you to visit them! ;)

I decided to start off with Charleston because
it is one of my favorite cities.
I love the good vibes that the city brings
and the people there are so wonderful!

Places to Stay:
John Rutledge House Inn: This quaint little inn is located at 116 Broad Street in Charleston. This inn has three different levels of rooms that you can stay in. Each bed is also a tempur-pedic bed so you're guaranteed to have a wonderful night's rest! JRHI is also located in the heart of Charleston so you will be within walking distance to shops and historic sites that you will never forget!
Here is their website, be sure to check it out: click here!

The Meeting Street Inn: This adorable inn is located in the historic district of Charleston. When you stay here you will be bound to many history lessons that you will never forget. This place is also the perfect place for a wedding! Check this fun place out here!

Best Western Charleston Inn: For those of you who are more conscience of what comes out of your wallet. This inn just got updated and your fur babies are more than welcome to join you here! This hotel also has plenty of room and can accommodate large groups! Be sure and check out their website here!

Must Do's:
Fort Sumter: Of course this was going to be on the list! History is one of my favorite subjects! This is where the American Civil War began. This place is also a national park, which is awesome because it will never be messed with!

Charleston City Market: This place is simply amazing! There are day and night vendors that set up shop here and sell very cool artifacts! Seriously check this place out, you'll be so glad that you did!

Rainbow Row: If you appreciate color then you should definitely check out Rainbow Row. What is Rainbow Row? It is a row of Georgian style homes that are so colorful and date back all the way to the 1700's, you'll want one yourself! The address is 3 E Bay St, Charleston, SC 29401.

Let's Eat:
Hanks Seafood House: If you love seafood this is the place for you! Totally worth the price you pay for the meal, which isn't overly expensive! Jumbo Shrimp is one of my favorites, highly recommend it! They also have chicken for those non seafood lovers!

Early Bird Diner: If you love chicken and waffles this is the place where they serve nothing but the best of them--seriously! Word on the street is you should try a burger!

Leon's: Get your oyster's at this place and their chicken is yummy too!  They have been featured in Southern Living and Eater! Try it out next time you're in Charleston!

I seriously love Charleston! It was so hard narrow it down. If you have any recommendations that aren't on the list, let me know, we might can do a part 2!

Until Next Time,

Don't Put Yourself Through That

It's not always easy deciding to stop loving something that you've loved for so long, that you wanted forever. The first few days you are strong about and then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks. You immediately start crying and wish that it had worked out and you don't completely understand why it didn't. You get mad and frustrated. You had all these plans made, you had all of these dreams you two were going to put into reality one day. It's hard to give up something that you loved. But deep down you know it's for the best. You've struggled for so long but you have the faith that your Heavenly Father is on your side and He will only do what is best for you. So  Don't Put Yourself through   the heart ache of wishing things were different because that person was put into your life for a reason, you learned a lot from those months you were together and you should be thankful for them. Remember it's not always going to be easy, but w...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...
