Stop Regretting and Start Living

Hi All,
I know it has been a few since I've posted but in my defense
I have been working on some pretty epic posts that should
be showing in the near future!

-Anyways-

Today I just wanted to write something quick and hopefully simple...
I was looking on my newsfeed and I've been noticing all the negative
posts...I know what you're thinking...it's there all of the time but today
it just hit me...
Why are we allowing the negativity to be filtered into our lives?
Why are we not enjoying each day, yes we're getting older but
AGE IS JUST A NUMBER..
Why are we allowing people to control our thoughts and what we believe?
Why are we regretting and saying oh I wish I was 16 again, when I could eat an
entire pizza and still be a size 4
I'm here to tell you one simple thing:

STOP REGRETTING AND START LIVING

You only get this one life to live so live it.
I know that it's easier said than done but seriously do it!
Don't let the negativity of social media have that much of an impact
on you.

With that being said I want to propose a challenge for you...

Don't post the negative memes just because you think it is funny.
Focus on the positive memes and post them...also don't post negative comments
on your friends' feed.
Our world is in need of more love and less hate, so if you stop posting and commenting
negative things imagine how much love you will attract into your life!
With that being said I bid you a'do!
Don't forget to email me and tell me your amazing stories of this challenge!

XO,
GFB

Spring Break 2016

This year I was FINALLY able to go on a spring break trip with my family, which was much needed. You see usually my school schedule and work schedule never coincide with when my family is taking their annual trip to the lovely KW but this year it did! I was so excited to be able to go this trip! This year (and every other year) we traveled to Key West, Florida and OMG it was amazing! Even though it was a long(er) trip it was well worth it! There is so much to do there, even if the place itself is only 3 miles wide. My favorite thing to do is the Conch Train ride, its a little train/trolley ride that takes you around KW and tells you historical facts about the place, (maybe I love it a little too much because I am a history guru). But in all seriousness it is nice to actually get away from the demands of life and enjoy time with family and it doesn't hurt that it was in such a beautiful place surrounded by the ocean. On our way to Key West and on our way back home, we stopped at...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...

Top [Ten] favorite quotes!

Today I am going to talk about my top 10 favorite quotes and why I love them. I think that inspirational quotes are my favorite type of quotes just because as I have gotten older I've learned to rely on them and they help me get through some of the dark times in my life. 1. "Those who move forward with a happy spirit will find that things work out"  -Gordon B. Hinckley I love this quote because I honestly believe in it. I grew up listening to this man talk in conferences and I absolutely love reading his talks. It's so amazing that when I read or listen to his talks how much I feel as though he is talking specifically to me. 2. "You have not failed until you quit trying" -Gordon B. Hinckley See, I told you I love this man. I absolutely love this quote because it is true, I believe that if you keep on trying at something you have won in some regards. 3.  "If you are a little better than you were yesterday, then that is enough" -David A....
