(excuse the bad lighting) |
watching a film on the devastations of tornadoes
and I got an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for
my parents.
I know for a fact that I have kept my parents on their toes
more than they would like to be.
I was that teenager that knew "everything"
and didn't need the advice from my parents and
when my parents told me to be home from a date
at 11:00, I was sure to be there at 11:01 to just to
prove to them I was an "adult" by the way I totally
DONT recommend doing that because it just gets you in
more trouble.
It seems these days that children take their parents for granted,
which is sad to me. You might be saying "how do you know?"
Hello, one of my jobs/hobbies is working with children.
I will be forever grateful to have my parents.
They've taught me a lot and I hope that I am half of
the parents they were to my sister and myself.
Best,
Leslie
