Top [Ten] favorite quotes!

Today I am going to talk about my top 10 favorite quotes and why I love them.
I think that inspirational quotes are my favorite type of quotes just because
as I have gotten older I've learned to rely on them and they help me get through
some of the dark times in my life.

1. "Those who move forward with a happy spirit will find that things work out"
-Gordon B. Hinckley
I love this quote because I honestly believe in it. I grew up listening to this man talk in conferences and I absolutely love reading his talks. It's so amazing that when I read or listen to his talks how much I feel as though he is talking specifically to me.

2. "You have not failed until you quit trying"
-Gordon B. Hinckley
See, I told you I love this man. I absolutely love this quote because it is true, I believe that if you keep on trying at something you have won in some regards.

3.  "If you are a little better than you were yesterday, then that is enough" -David A. Bednar
Through all the craziness in the world if you are a little better than you were yesterday whether its because you've started making your bed up everyday or because you've changed your eating habits to healthier options if you are better than you were yesterday at something then you are on the right path, guaranteed!

4. "I testify that with Christ, darkness cannot succeed"-Dieter F. Uchtdorf
I whole-heartedly believe in this quote. If we believe in Christ, that he will help us then darkness cannot win, no matter how much it wants to win.

5. "Look for something positive in each day"
YES! YES! YES! Positivity is one of the keys to success!

6. "Happiness is found when you stop comparing yourself to others"
This quote. Enough said.

7. "Never let go of your dreams"
Thats right, your dreams CAN become your reality if you truly believe in yourself and your dreams. Life will open up if you keep dreaming and believing...trust me on this one.

8. "Believe in yourself"
I love the simplicity of this quote. Simply believe in yourself and you're halfway to your goal!

9. "You don't always need a plan, simply breathe, let go and see what happens"
I always need to be reminded of this quote. I'm a planner but sometimes being a planner is a bad thing and you need to go with the flow.

10. "Don't ruin a good day, by thinking about the bad day you had yesterday"
This quote is absolutely amazing. How many people do you know that can't have a good day because they are thinking about something that happened the day before? We all know someone like that. Don't be that person, think positively and your life will change.

Is amazing how much quotes help you get through the dark times, I hope that people will feel inspired to share their top 10 favorite quotes!

Until Next Time,
XOXO
Leslie Ann

Don't Put Yourself Through That

It's not always easy deciding to stop loving something that you've loved for so long, that you wanted forever. The first few days you are strong about and then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks. You immediately start crying and wish that it had worked out and you don't completely understand why it didn't. You get mad and frustrated. You had all these plans made, you had all of these dreams you two were going to put into reality one day. It's hard to give up something that you loved. But deep down you know it's for the best. You've struggled for so long but you have the faith that your Heavenly Father is on your side and He will only do what is best for you. So  Don't Put Yourself through   the heart ache of wishing things were different because that person was put into your life for a reason, you learned a lot from those months you were together and you should be thankful for them. Remember it's not always going to be easy, but w...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...
