What Independence Day Means to Me

HELLO EVERYONE! I know this is the third time that I've posted this week, crazy right? But I just wanted to take a minute and post about what Independence Day means to me. I know for a lot of people it means bbq's, swimming,  and fireworks. While all of those things are great and don't get me wrong I love them too it has a somewhat deeper meaning for me and I thought I would share just a smidge of it. I love the fourth of July. I love the colors and the meaning behind this holiday. It's important to me because without all of the sacrifice that so many of our men and women fought for us to have who knows where we honestly would be right now. I'm so incredibly grateful that those men and women fought for me and my freedoms...there's no way that I/we would be ever able to repay them. Independence Day to me means that you celebrate and be thankful for your freedoms, I believe that should be your main focus because without them you may not be ...

Lean Unto Him

Sometimes we are really hard on ourselves. We tell ourselves that we can't do something, when in reality we totally can do it but because of the mindset we are in we don't. I know in my life I haven't made it easy on myself. I take things out on people and then realize when I've calmed down I shouldn't have. I get in that mindset sometime as mentioned above. I've been taught better than to do that...but yet it still happens. I get mad at the world and need my "me time". We're human's... it's going to happen. When I get in those mindsets one thing that I have come to realize is that it is important to lean unto our Father in Heaven. He's there for us regardless of our circumstances. He loves us and truly does want what is best for us. He is always there to listen to us and will guide us in the right direction if we just ask. If you are having a rough day just remember one of my favorite quotes... XOXO, GFB FEEL...

Q&A part 2

Life has been somewhat crazy these past few months, so I decided to take some time and answer a few questions that I received on my last Q&A session way back when... Lets get started! What are some things that you can't live without? Easy, my iPhone/chocolate/my car Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? hopefully settled down and having a successful business Why did you create this blog? I intentionally created this blog just to write and express myself, but I'm trying to turn it into an inspirational/travel blog because those two things are super important to me. What are two life lessons that you've learned? One lesson is to never give up. I know it sounds really simply but seriously DONT! Chase after your dreams and reach them and when you do set out some more dreams to catch! The second one is love your mama. Seriously, she does a lot and hardly gets any recognition. She's your biggest fan and will always be there regardless of wha...
