Visit Nashville!

Now that the holidays are over I can now
finish my 'VISIT' series!
Nashville is seriously my all time favorite city...ever!
I love the atmosphere, the history of Nashville, and
the people of Nashville.
Nashville is a place that I feel most anyone can enjoy,
it's not just for the country music fans anymore.
----------
Places to Stay:

Hotel Preston: This hotel has easy parking that is free. For you all who want
to bring your 4 legged friend along this hotel is also pet friendly but if you don't bring
your 4 legged buddy with you they are more than willing to let you have a pet fish in
your room, yep a pet FISH! They also offer wedding packages for those who
are looking for a place to get married, this hotel is quirky but could be just what you need.
be sure and get out!

Hutton Hotel: This hotel rates 4.4/5 stars. The Hutton Hotel also features it's own blog that tells about the hotels special events.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel: Did you really think I could talk about places to stay in my favorite city without talking about this place? This hotel is so beautiful inside and even features a boat ride, yep you read that right a boat ride inside of the hotel! There is also a spa for the ladies and golfing for the guys!
----------
Places to Eat:

Loveless Cafe: If you love southern fried food, this place is a MUST! Everything from homemade biscuits to homemade banana pudding you can bet your bottom dollar that they have it at this little piece of heaven. They also can accommodate large groups!

Mas Tacos Por Favor: If you're in the mood for a little Mexican be sure and check out this Mexican delight! They're open everyday from 11am-9pm central standard time. They have everything from fresh tacos to yummy burritos and can mix you up a fancy drink! Check them out if you're ever in the area!

Peg Leg Porker BBQ: This place is so delicious! This is also a must try if you're in the area simply because the BBQ is to die for. Everything is made fresh and they give you enough portions that you'll have to take some home!
----------
Things to do:

Grand Ole Opry: When you're in Nashville, you must tour this place, especially if you're a country music lover like myself.  Plan about 2 hours for the tour and to look around, I promise you won't be disappointed. This place is something you will never forget and you'll look back on and be glad that you did it.

The Hermitage: President Andrew Jackson stayed at this home and the grounds of this home are beautiful. If you get the chance check it out!

Adventure Science Center: Do you have kids? Or like science? You should check into this place. They have a section all about towers, bee keeping, and body quest where children (or yourself) can learn about your body and all of it's functions!

Nashville is full of culture and I have much love for this city!
If you get the chance to visit Nashville you need to check it out,
I can promise you won't be disappointed

Don't Put Yourself Through That

It's not always easy deciding to stop loving something that you've loved for so long, that you wanted forever. The first few days you are strong about and then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks. You immediately start crying and wish that it had worked out and you don't completely understand why it didn't. You get mad and frustrated. You had all these plans made, you had all of these dreams you two were going to put into reality one day. It's hard to give up something that you loved. But deep down you know it's for the best. You've struggled for so long but you have the faith that your Heavenly Father is on your side and He will only do what is best for you. So  Don't Put Yourself through   the heart ache of wishing things were different because that person was put into your life for a reason, you learned a lot from those months you were together and you should be thankful for them. Remember it's not always going to be easy, but w...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...
