A Little Piece of Paradise

If you ever have the opportunity to travel to the Florida keys....DO IT!
The atmosphere there is like one you will have never experienced before.
There is so much to do there and so many great places to stay!
(Please remember these are my opinions, I have links included in the hotels)
Things to do
1. In Key West they have a butterfly and nature conservatory
2. There are tons of boat tours that happen in any of the keys that you go to
3. Since I am a huge fan of turtles I HIGHLY recommend visiting The Turtle Hospital located in Marathon.
4. There are also many boats that you can take out and scuba dive and snorkel on (this is one of my twin's favorite things to do)
5. When you get on down into Key West make sure you visit The Ernest Hemingway home
6. Don't forget to take a tour on the Conch Train in Key West to learn about the history of this great place!
7. You have to visit Mallory Square at dusk and see the many street performers and celebrate the sunset!

Places to stay
1. Little Palm Island Resort and Spa: this place is absolutely gorgeous and is definitely one of my favorite places in the Keys. (http://www.littlepalmisland.com) Here's a little fun fact about this hotel, it was named one of "America's Best Beach Hotels"
2. Little Conch Key: this place a little bit of it all, from complimentary bottled water in your room to helicopter tours! (http://www.conchkeycottagesfloridakeys.com)
3. Key Lantern Blue Finn Inn: this hotel is one of the lowest priced hotels in the Florida Keys. (http://www.keylantern.com/index.htm)
4. Key Lime Inn: you should totally check this place out just because of it's name, I mean who doesn't love a hotel with a cool name? This hotel has that "welcome home" feeling that people miss when they are on vacation. (http://www.historickeywestinns.com/the-inns/key-lime-inn/)
5. Barnacle Bed and Breakfast: this hotel is super cute and it's almost guaranteed that you will escape the hectic world and be at peace with yourself. (http://www.thebarnacle.net)

With that being said, what are you waiting for?
Book your vacation to the fabulous Florida Keys now!

XOXO,
Leslie Ann

Don't Put Yourself Through That

It's not always easy deciding to stop loving something that you've loved for so long, that you wanted forever. The first few days you are strong about and then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks. You immediately start crying and wish that it had worked out and you don't completely understand why it didn't. You get mad and frustrated. You had all these plans made, you had all of these dreams you two were going to put into reality one day. It's hard to give up something that you loved. But deep down you know it's for the best. You've struggled for so long but you have the faith that your Heavenly Father is on your side and He will only do what is best for you. So  Don't Put Yourself through   the heart ache of wishing things were different because that person was put into your life for a reason, you learned a lot from those months you were together and you should be thankful for them. Remember it's not always going to be easy, but w...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...
