Q&A

I received an email asking me to do a Q&A just so everyone can get to
know me better. (some of these are on the more serious side
and then some of them are just for fun)
So lets get started!

1.  What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is yellow. That has been my favorite color
ever since I was a young girl, but I also like orange as well.
2. What was it like growing up with a twin?
Oh man, I absolutely LOVED it! There's always someone to do something with.
Plus we always got a lot of attention because twins weren't as popular as they are
now. (no, that does not mean I'm old either)
3. If you could go anywhere on a dream vacation, where would it be and why?
That's a tough question. There is SO many places that I want to go, I'll just say my top 5 places because any of them would be my dream vacation (they're in no particular order)...
1. Italy
2. England
3. Hawaii
4. Alaska
5. Ireland
4. What is the best advice that you have ever gotten and why?
Being the more carefree child I have gotten a lot of advice through out my life... so I would have to say "So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others
makes all the difference."
5. Do you sleep with your closet doors closed or open?
Definitely closed, I think it makes the room look neater and if you know me you know that I am a neat freak.
6. Do you sing in the car?
OMG yes! I can't get in the car and not turn on music and sing!
7. If someone was going through a hard time in life, what advice would you give them?
To keep chasing their dreams, yes they might be going through a trial but I thinking chasing your dreams and making them become a reality is something that can keep you going and out of the dark stages of your life.
8. What is your dream car?
Ahhhh another hard question. Again, if you know me then you know that I am a car person. I could literally go around to car events ALL.THE.TIME. and never get bored. With that being said I have tons of dream cars, my top three are:
1. Mercedes GLS
2. GMC Terrain
3. Any type of old time-ish car
9. How would your friends/family describe you?
I think they would describe me as charismatic, caring, and carefree.
10. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully with a family of my own :)
11. If someone came to you looking for advice about owning their own business what advice would you give them?
I would say be prepared to work hard and have A TON of sleepless nights and don't ever believe in someone's negativity against you.
12. What made you want to become a teacher?
Thats a long story...but what it ultimately boils down to is I love watching children grow and develop into little adults. I love being a part of that.
13. Who are some of your role models?
There's too many to name! But you know who you are ;)
14. What is your favorite number?
definitely seven
15. What was your favorite subject in school?
Language Arts/English
16. What is your favorite food?
I like anything...but would prefer it be something on the more healthy side.
17. What is something that you can't live without?
Iphone...ha!
18. What are some accomplishments that you are proud of?
My weight loss, my first college degree, and my businesses
19. How do you cope with stress?
Exercise!
20. In what ways have you grown since opening your own business?
I've grown in so many ways. I would say that the biggest way that I have grown is I've become more patient with myself and with others.
21. What is your blog about?
It's about real life. Nothing I write or will write on here will be fake. It's my life and I want people to see that they don't have to portray this image of perfectness ALL.THE.TIME. I want them to be able to come to this blog for guidance and when they want to see humor or a fun place to go! I want this blog to help people believe that they can do anything that they set their minds to do and to be an encouragement to others!

There you have it!
Be sure and tell your friends and family about this blog!
Until next time.
XOXO
Leslie Ann

Don't Put Yourself Through That

It's not always easy deciding to stop loving something that you've loved for so long, that you wanted forever. The first few days you are strong about and then BAM it hits you like a ton of bricks. You immediately start crying and wish that it had worked out and you don't completely understand why it didn't. You get mad and frustrated. You had all these plans made, you had all of these dreams you two were going to put into reality one day. It's hard to give up something that you loved. But deep down you know it's for the best. You've struggled for so long but you have the faith that your Heavenly Father is on your side and He will only do what is best for you. So  Don't Put Yourself through   the heart ache of wishing things were different because that person was put into your life for a reason, you learned a lot from those months you were together and you should be thankful for them. Remember it's not always going to be easy, but w...

2016: A Year of Learning and Thankfulness

2016. This year has definitely been a year of learning. Learning who I am and who I'm suppose to become. I've learned this year that I can do anything that I set my mind to do and that I just need possible.  I'm not who I was a year ago and I've learned to be okay with that. I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a totally different person than I was even two years ago. I've learned that life goes on. And I've learned that things don't always go as planned. I've learned that things happen for a reason and that things happen in Heavenly Father's time, not ours. I've learned that our plans don't always go accordingly and to be grateful for every moment because we won't be able to get those moments back. This year I've also learned to be thankful. Thankful for my family, who support me, in every decision I make. Thankful for my warm home on winter nights and a cool home on those warm July days. I'm th...
